For legal purposes there are specific ways we have to write our policies, but we want to make sure a few points are clear up front:
We never sell your private information
We never sell your name, email address, trip information, or favorite color to anybody. Never ever.
We also never share anything with untrustworthy sources. When you book a hotel, we transmit reservation information to the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN), but we use top-level encryption to be sure no one else is listening.
We hate SPAM too
We only send you emails when we have important information for you, or if you’ve signed up for our newsletter (and then just once per week).
We try hard not to bug you, and we do everything we can to keep your email address from falling into the hands of someone who thinks you may want discount drugs from Mexico. Unless that’s your thing
Your stuff belongs to you
When you post reviews and upload your photos, the Atlas gets better and better – but all of that stuff is yours. If you’ve uploaded a photo and you change your mind, you can always delete it from your Dashboard. Tips and reviews each have a “Delete” link.
You can close your account at any time, and if you do we’ll immediately delete every photo, tip or review you’ve ever submitted.

Bookings & Cancellations
None. Zipo. Zilch. We don’t charge anything if you change your mind and cancel your hotel. However, the hotel might have fees of it’s own. Make sure to carefully read the cancellation policies of each room.
Low Price Guarantee
The Low Price Guarantee protects your pocket book and takes the worry out of booking a hotel room. After you book with us, if you find a lower publicly available rate online for the same dates, hotel, and room category, we will match the price.
Find a lower price? Fill out this form.
You may cancel or change your prepaid hotel reservation, but you will be charged the cancellation or change fee indicated in the rules and restrictions for the hotel reservation. If you do not cancel or change your reservation before the cancellation policy period applicable to the hotel you reserved, which varies by hotel (usually 24 to 72 hours) prior to your date of arrival, you will be subject to a charge equal to applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges and service fees. In the event you do not show for the first night of the reservation and plan to check-in for subsequent nights in your reservation, you must confirm the reservation changes with us no later than the date of the first night of the reservation to prevent cancellation of your reservation. You agree to pay any cancellation or change fees that you incur. In limited cases, some reservations cannot be changed or cancelled after they are made, as indicated in the rules and restrictions for the hotel reservation. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions imposed with respect to your prepaid hotel reservations.
You may not book reservations for more than 8 rooms online for the same hotel/stay dates. If we determine that you have booked reservations for more than 8 rooms in total in separate reservations, we may cancel your reservations, and charge you a cancellation fee, if applicable. If you paid a non-refundable deposit, your deposit will be forfeited. If you wish to book reservations for 9 or more rooms, you must contact our group travel specialists by phone at (800) 916-3290. You may be asked to sign a written contract and/or pay a nonrefundable deposit.
Pay Now or Pay Later Details
With certain hotels, you may be presented with the option to pay online now or pay later at the hotel. If you select the “Pay Online Now” option, Alocato will charge the amount to your credit card in US dollars immediately. If you select “Pay Later at the Hotel”, the hotel will charge your credit card in the local currency at the time of your stay. Please note that taxes and fees vary between the two payment options. Tax rates and foreign exchange rates could change in the time between booking and stay.
