Huge: United’s Premium Credit Card Now Offers 100,000 Miles

I am compensated for the content and several links on my site. Citibank, American Express, Chase, Barclays, and Capital One are all advertising partners on this site. My advertising partners have not reviewed, authorized, or supported any of the thoughts stated in this article. I don’t write about all credit cards; instead, I concentrate on miles, points, and cash back (and currencies that can be converted into the same). The offers and advantages described on this website are subject to the terms.
Infinite United ClubSM Card
The United Airlines MileagePlus premium credit card has a $525 annual fee and presently offers 100,000 bonus miles after spending $5,000 on purchases during the first three months of account setup. This is a fantastic deal for a card that is the best option for most MileagePlus members in the United States to acquire club access.
The Club Infinite Card’s Fundamentals
The Infinite United ClubSM Card earns four miles for every dollar spent on United purchases, two miles for all other travel and dining expenditures, and one mile for all other transactions.
When you pay with your Club Infinite Card on United-operated flights, you may get up to $100 in Global Entry or TSA Precheck® fee credit, as well as 25% back as a statement credit on purchases of food, drinks, and Wi-Fi. The first and second checked luggage are complimentary.
Benefits of the new United Club Infinite Card have just been announced.
We learnt about five new features introduced to the United ClubSM Infinite Card at the end of September:
- Coach saving rewards are eligible for a 10% discount.
- Signing up for CLEAR before June 30, 2022 will get you 10,000 additional miles.
- Starting in 2022, IHG Rewards Platinum elite status will be available.
- Companions of elite-status cardholders who travel on a United award ticket are eligible for upgrades.
- Starting in 2022, there will be more opportunities to gain elite qualification points via spending. Earn 500 Premier Qualifying Points for every $12,000 you spend, up to a maximum of 4,000 per calendar year. (This is an increase from the previous limit of 3,000 qualifying points in 2021.)
Depending on how you spend United miles, the 10% reduction on coach saving awards will be useful. This only applies to coach rewards purchased at the saver level. The CLEAR membership incentive is excellent, since I find the security bypass to be invaluable in my trips.
The 100,000 mile acquisition offer, on the other hand, is a no-brainer for individuals qualified for Chase cards (e.g., having had less than 5 new cards in the previous 24 months, and many people didn’t consider new cards during the past year and a half due to the epidemic).
With the return to travel, access to United Clubs is also beneficial; I was astonished and delighted when I visited one in Houston last month.
