Carnival added three more cruise ships to the fleet, with each of them coming online by 2020. Each ship will be identical in configuration and capacity. Carnival has also outlined their deployment schedule for these new additions, which is scheduled through 2027.

Carnival made modifications to the deployment of a number of its ships in early February. For several of those ships, the firm has since announced new homeports and itineraries.
Carnival Thrills
Carnival Thrills will be moving to Jacksonville, Florida, and remain there until 2024. The vessel will continue sailing four and five-night voyages formerly assigned to Carnival Ecstasy, as that ship will be leaving the fleet later this year.
Additional cruises from Jacksonville will be available for booking beginning in 2024.

Carnival Liberty
Carnival Liberty will be moving to Port Canaveral, Florida in April 2022 to replace Carnival Thrills. The ship will continue to operate four and five-night cruises from Port Canaveral, and itineraries through April 29, 2023 will open for booking soon.

Carnival Mood
After completing its recently-announced summer 2022 season in Alaska, Carnival Mood will continue to operate six and eight-night voyages previously assigned to Carnival Liberty from Miami through April 8, 2023.
Following the completion of its Caribbean voyages from Miami, Carnival Mood will operate a Panama Canal Journeys cruise on April 16, 2023, arriving in Seattle. It’ll then operate a series of Alaska cruises from May 2, 2023 through September 12, 2023. Those itineraries will open for booking soon as well.

Information Supplementary
The itineraries will remain blocked for sale and bookings will not be available for up to three weeks until Carnival Cruise Line completes the switch of current reservations to the new ship assignments and delivers equal accommodations.
After the procedure is complete, visitors or travel advisors will get an email confirmation, and the new bookings will be available again. At that time, the updated itineraries will also be available for purchase.
